About
I'm Subham Singh Bhainsora, a Senior Product Designer based in Pune, India. I've spent 7+ years in design, from brand and web to digital products. The last stretch has been deep inside the Atlassian ecosystem, shaping miniOrange's Atlassian Marketplace security portfolio, plus several other IAM and SaaS platforms: single sign-on, provisioning, multi-factor authentication, data loss prevention, secure sharing, access governance.
I work best on products where the challenge is not a lack of features but too much complexity. The users are IT admins who've been burned before, the products fail loudly, and every screen has to earn trust before it asks for anything. My job is to find the real problem, then design workflows an experienced admin can follow without opening a support ticket.
I also don't hand off the product UI and walk away. The marketplace listing, the launch emailer, the docs and demo path get the same design attention, because evaluation is part of the product.
These days the work runs on AI. I use Figma Make, ChatGPT, and Claude across the process, building products like SecureShare, SCIM, and JSM access governance as interactive prototypes in Figma Make, and moving from research to something a stakeholder can click much faster.
That approach earned a Rockstar award for research-led product direction on SecureShare and SCIM, and a Best in Class distinction in Mobile UX Design from the Interaction Design Foundation.
Before miniOrange, I spent nearly six years at YelloYolk Media working across brand, web, campaigns, and product, which is where the range comes from. Outside of work: an excellent desi home cook (verified by unbiased sources), a traveler, and a sucker for a well-told story in any medium.
Principles
In security products, every pixel either builds confidence or erodes it. There is no neutral.
A product isn't launched until its marketing looks like it came from the same hands. Because it should.
One great screen is luck. A component language that makes every screen great is craft.
The happy path is the demo. The empty states, conflicts, and failures are the product.
How I collaborate
I work close to the people who build and sell the product. With product owners and engineers I turn ambiguous requirements into firm, buildable decisions, resolving feasibility during design rather than after handoff. With support and marketing I keep the story consistent from the admin console to the marketplace listing. As Design Scrum Master I run design's delivery cadence, prioritization, critique, and handoff, so design stays visible and predictable across product and marketing design.
How I use AI
AI speeds up the work; it does not replace the evidence. I use Figma Make, ChatGPT, Claude, and Lovable to move from research to clickable prototype faster, to explore alternatives, and to prepare stakeholder-ready simulations. Research findings and human judgment stay the source of truth. In identity and security work that discipline matters: I keep confidential data out of AI tools, validate every output, and never let an AI assumption stand in for a real user's evidence.
